BRAW Skin is a small-batch, plant-based skincare brand based in the wild west coast of Scotland. Born from a personal search for gentle, effective care for dry, compromised skin for me and my family. BRAW keeps formulas intentionally simple. Every ingredient is chosen for their skin soothing properties.
Our products draw on the ban-fhiosaiche tradition of Scottish plant wisdom, grounded in Celtic tradition. Honouring the wheel of the year, seasonal living, and the landscape around us.

Rich in sea buckthorn and black cumin seed oil, each balm forms a protective layer against harsh weather - ideal for daily wear / nightly use. Lightly scented with skin loving essential oils.

Moisturise + Seal
Built for Scottish weather. Soften with our Hydration Day Cream, then lock it in with Barrier Balm wherever skin takes a battering: face, hands, lips, cheeks, body and cuticles.
Hydration Day Cream 60ml
Light, vegan and fast-absorbing. Shea and cocoa butter, jojoba, rosehip and borage oils, with soothing aloe and gotu kola. No greasy finish.
Barrier Balm 60ml
Rich and waterless. Shea butter, jojoba, black cumin seed and sea buckthorn oils to seal in moisture and care for dry, weathered skin.
How to use
Moisturise: Smooth a little day cream over face and neck.
Seal: Warm a small amount of balm between your fingertips and press into dry areas. A little goes a long way.

Who it's for
Rich in the pot, melts light on skin. For dry, weather-worn or older and wiser skin: the kind that tightens in the wind and reacts at the slightest thing. Especially welcome for sensitive, nippy skin.
What's inside
Cold-pressed sea buckthorn, black cumin seed and golden jojoba, softened with shea butter and warmed with frankincense and rose geranium.
No water. No wax. No fillers. Just oils, butters and botanicals to seal in moisture and soothe.
Scottish Lore
Named for Isabella McCallum, known as Bell a'Phuill or 'Bell of the Muddy Place', after her home beside the spot where cattle crossed the Allt a'Mhuilinn burn. She lived in her small thatched house at Auchindrain township, near Inveraray, from 1850 until 1915. She was the township's wise woman and healer, at a time when doctors and medicine were costly and hard to reach. This balm honours her craft of plants, care and practical kindness.
How to use
Warm a little between your fingertips and press into skin. Use overnight as a facial barrier balm, or on dry patches, cuticles, lips and hands. A little goes a long way.

The scent
Scots pine and frankincense, grounded by Atlas cedarwood and vetiver. Green wood, dry earth and salt air off the Firth. Clean, resinous and understated.
What it does
Shea butter and jojoba melt on contact, sealing in moisture where skin is exposed to weather and work. Black cumin seed and sea buckthorn oils help soothe and protect hard-working skin. No water, no fuss.
How to use
Warm a little between your fingertips and press in. A little goes further than you'd think. Apply before heading out and again after washing.
